root beer, a stack of cups and a cooler with vanilla ice cream in it, some cute striped paper straws, jar of marischino cherries

10/10 for ease & presentation. A little kitschy, but this float crushed as a post-dinner sweet (also cute as a midafternoon pool treat?) I used one scoop of vanilla ice cream with a shot of Coke and a cherry on top. A la mode summer still in full force.
