A ‘whoopsie’-teaspoon? When I go rogue and use more liquid gold than instructed to, the resulting decadence is obvious, but for some reason, I keep it a secret.

Agreed. I bake fast and loose with my measurements ehen scratch baking, and eyeball some things. Never once have I ever said “there’s too much vanilla in this” (and same goes for cinnamon).
But I did read a recipe hack once for amping boxed mixes that said to double the amount of eggs and oil/butter for bakery level outcomes and they weren’t wrong!

Upon further reflection, I think I need to make a correction! I think the dealio was double butter/oil - but add one egg! Now I’m worried you’re gonna have a have omelette otherwise!! Lmk if you try it!
