Bodum Brazil

I test coffee makers for my job and Bodum makes excellent, affordable French presses. The Brazil is made of borosilicate glass, which can usually survive falls better than regular glass (though it’s still breakable). If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth a shot - the frame of this coffee maker is plastic, so that may help too. If you’re absolutely anti-glass, the Yeti French press is great. You can literally throw it across a room, and it’ll be fine.
