Create a friends newsletter with Letterloop

Recommended by Jenni

My long distance friends and I use this as a way to keep up with each other in a fun and meaningful way when our varying schedules, time zone differences, and daily life commitments don’t always allow us to hop on a video call or be in the group chat at the same time. It’s very customizable to fit your preferences, has a ton of questions to choose from (or allows you to write your own), and incudes other fun features like adding photos and music suggestions.

This app is a great way to stay in touch and up-to-date with the lives of your long distance friends. You can select the questions and respond in your own time, the frequency is up to you — honestly, it is set up SO well for friends in different time zones. Even if you do other things to stay in touch, receiving a friends newsletter in your inbox is always such a treat. Plus, the team is super responsive to requests for improving the app!
