Yesterday (En Vogue)
Recommended by Spines, Flicks, and Wax
My mom bought Funky Divas on CD when I was in second grade. I didn't know some band called The Beatles sang it until a teacher (rarely rudely) informed me.
Admittedly, I still kind of like this version better.

Beatles covers are my favorites because I love the songs but… (whispering)don’t-love-their-voices. Have you seen the movie Across the Universe? A whole movie full of incredible voices covering The Beatles, lightly linked together with a story.

I've always wanted to watch that movie! I'll have to check it out now 😄

Ooh, just listened to this version and it’s so pretty!

I really love hearing women cover Beatles songs!
There was a girl group called The Cookies, who sang a Carole King-written tune called "Chains". The Beatles version might be more well-known but The Cookies version is soo good!
@dylaryduff
omg thank you for introducing me to this cover!!!
@jeninak
Any time! This whole album is killer but "Yesterday" is my favorite track 😊
