Potato Party recs needed! My husband’s sole request for his 50th bday is to have a party in honor of his favorite food: the humble potato. It’s gonna be a potluck, but please make recommendations for a main/central dish that has protein in it, as well as tips for how not to end up with a beige buffet

Going to Montreal for the first time July 17-21 with two BFFs (one is turning 50)! What are your favorite things to see, do, eat? We are also looking for a spa day!

What are the best 50th birthday ideas? I’m trying to plan something for my husband’s. For his 40th, I asked everyone at flash chorus to bring a him their favorite bag of potato chips. I also blocked his calendar for a bunch of 1:1 secret friend dates. I don’t want to do the same thing, but just sharing to give you an idea of what “involved” looks like. We aren’t rolling in dough!

What are your favorite time travel books? Engrossing, escapist varieties preferred!
