Strawberry Fruit

Not a strawberry, a different thing! They taste kinda like mango candy with little crunchy seeds. I’ve never seen them for sale, i eat them off trees in San Francisco (try to avoid the trees on heavily trafficked roads).

Update: these need to be so perfectly ripe, almost too squishy to hold, the inside should have a gooey custard consistency. Unripe strawberry fruit will not taste like very much and are not really worth eating.
