Straw Flowers

I’m slightly too lazy for most fresh flowers because they make such a mess and I’ve let them get moldy a few too many times.

I love straw flowers because after a few days on the table, i hang them to dry and then they last pretty much forever, suspended in time, so bright and pretty :)

They’re in season right now in the Bay Area and a bunch was only $10 at the farmers market.

Currently hanging them to dry in this window grate outside my kitchen’s fire escape door.
