Letting your hair go gray

I’m not graying yet but when I do, I’m fully committed. Really hoping millennials will be the generation to put an end to the trend of covering up gray hair. Let’s age interestingly!

I was covering up my greys with blonde highlights. Once I realized it was a losing battle it’s quite freeing. And much cheaper. And you get your time back.

You will not be as willing as you think at first because short greys are very unmanageable but once they grow then yes - full embrace

I’m 42 and found my first grey hair on my 33rd birthday, and even though it took awhile to accept it I now love my greys! They’re all growing in super curly and wild (I have medium wavy hair), so I’m excited to see what it looks like down the line.

Same! I’m in my mid 30’s and I’m starting to get some greys pop up, but I don’t intend on dying my hair. Think grey hair is kind of chic??

I just heard it in the Robert Altman film "A Wedding". An woman tells a younger woman not to put tap water on her face because it causes wrinkles, and the younger woman responds "that's alright, I plan to age interestingly". Really stuck with me and I wrote this rec the next day :)

I started going grey at 12, and 30 years later I get stopped at least once a day to compliment/ask about my silver-white-slightly lavender mane. Best style choice of my life.
