kpop idols are constantly pressured to be idol-like– to be perfect and poised and not make any mistakes. most netizens are READY to start hate trains out of thin air if an idol makes one mistake.

watching this particular episode with tsuki brought tears to my eyes. to us, she's a beautiful idol that's endured a lot of hardship under a company that's doing her group a disservice. but to her, she's always feeling like she isn't doing enough, that she needs to be on her A-game every chance she gets.

as a viewer, you can tell that she hasn't had much time to be a regular human– friendships are hard and relationships are nonexistent. idols are constantly chasing this dream while sacrificing a lot.

as a host, youngji offers viewers and fans a different perspective that we wouldn't typically see from idols, and that's why i cherish her and her show so much.
