Gift ideas for my mom’s 65th birthday? I’m a fan of themed gift baskets where I can thrift and/or DIY some components but I’m not sure what direction to go. She’s got it all it seems!

65 birthday postcards in the mail: When my mum turned 60 my siblings and I secretly asked 60+ people that she knew(friends,family, the kids down the street, her boss etc) to send her a birthday postcard/card in the mail. It was a huge hit and so fun for her to get well wishes and love from all the people in her life 💌

A box of letters: Might be a lot of work that you may or may not be up for but, the best gift I’ve ever given my mom was for a milestone birthday like this (her 50th) and I sourced and collected 50 (65 in your case) letters or notes from people in her life wishing her happy birthday / reflections on what she’s meant to them in their lives. I gave it to her in a beautiful box from Etsy, at dinner, and it was truly such an amazing gift because I also got to learn so much about her after finding and connecting with her college friends or high school teacher or her first boss. It was such a gift for all! Highly recommend if you have the energy and time!

Gifts are lovely. This just is such a keepsake and really demonstrates to the recipient how much they mean to others which can be hard to see in this long old pesky life of ours.

Pasta & puzzle gift set: Food is a win if she has everything (my mom is the same), and you could thrift some great dishes to accompany the set. The puzzle is also adorable and maybe an activity you can share (unless, like my mom, you argue over puzzle strategy) <3
