Yes. It's really that good. Imagine a town plagued and protected by an the supernatural that is also chronically infected with the sillies. Dale Cooper is the greatest character in all of fiction. You will be hit with the most terrifying and unnerving sequence you've ever seen immediately followed by the most tender scene between father and son ever put on screen out of nowhere. IT'S THAT GOOD.
