“A Dog’s Will (O Auto da Compadecida, 2000) is widely regarded as one of the greatest masterpieces of Brazilian comedy. The film combines rapid-fire comedic dialogue, brilliant physical comedy, and deep satirical commentary on class struggle, religion, and human nature. If you enjoy sharp, satirical folktales, clever underdog stories, or classic comedy with a touch of magical realism, A Dog's Will”
