I'm crying right now just reading the lyrics. My cousin recorded himself playing this on the guitar before he passed away from the most incredibly unfair fight with cancer I've ever witnessed. Grief never goes away, it just becomes more manageable. Goodbye's too good a word, babe. Only the good die young

oh my heart. this song gets me in the feels too. i'm so sorry about your cousin, life is so unfair. i also lost my mum to a brutal battle with cancer. you're absolutely right, you kinda just learn how to carry the grief in new and different ways. what a special memory you have of your cousin playing this <3
