rest in peace to one of the most iconic women of our time

she taught millions of people how to read, advocated on behalf of women and children, gave out scholarships to the entire graduating class of her hometown high school, collected money for those who lost their homes to wildfires, was an avid outspoken advocate for LGBT people notably the trans community, funded covid 19 research and so much more.

She is the epitome of leave the world better than you found it.

Thank you Mrs. Parton, enjoy your rest

“our queen who shined light on and helped so many children with her imagination library programs and was truly a living ray of light. honor her by reading a book, donating time to a cause important to you, and unapologetically being yourself. rest easy queen! 1946-2026 🕊️🕊️”

“This is my first post, and my intention is to post things that I find delightful. How else could I begin? She was wise and honest and kind and tons of fun. She chose to spend her money making the world a better place over being a billionaire. I hope there’s a heaven for her.”
