Oh my gosh agreed! I get regular emails from the Booker Prize people and I used to think I was fairly well read but then their lists come out and I've heard of like two authors and I think what have I been doing with my life?!? Last year's list was amazing, this list is amazing - could just sit and read until the end of days!

Me too!! So helpful to find new good work. Apparently Djamel White is only 28 years old and this is his debut novel longlisted. So awesome. Really looking forward to reading that one.
