This box of local, seasonal fruit went from “what a delightful novelty!” to “this is an absolute necessity and we must have it!” in the span of one week for my household. We’re not always able to get to the farmer’s market on the weekends and this fills that gap nicely, combined with the joy of discovering things that I’d never buy on my own. Like, I never look twice at grapes at the grocery. But pizzazz grapes from a family farm in Bakersfield? A revelation! Devoured in a day! As a bonus, everyone who works there is a treat. There was a mix-up with my delivery one week and not only did one of the co-founders personally sort it out for me over email, he delivered a replacement box himself the next morning!
