Gusto Bread — a must-go

Going to Gusto Bread in Long Beach is a dearly held family tradition. It's an artisan panadería with wild fermented dough that is unlike anything else you've ever had. New York times recently featured them in their list of best bakeries in the country, so go early in the morning. I'm putting their menu up here so you can strategize your approach. Grab a mixed handful to go and a coffee (also excellent) and amble the nearby historic district (lots of good houses, good dogs, and good gardens to enjoy alongside your good pastries).
