Selecting Single Stem ≥ Buying a Bouquet

Single stem is better, methinks:

• It's fun to pick out a single stem of whatever is fun and in season.

• It's max $3, which means I can afford to do this when whimsy demands.

• It's easier to transport on a bike or on public transit.

• It's easy to flower arrange.

• It's equally fun for the recipient. I think? Maybe my people are unusual in this. I know I would rather get one glorious dahlia than a dozen roses.
