Iliad Bookshop
By far the best bookstore in LA if you have enough time to spend there. Shelves stacked eight miles high, worryingly low prices, and two lovely cats who, if you possess a pleasant soul and willing heart, will curl up in your lap while you sample the wares.

“I’ve been really enjoying visiting all the used bookstores around the city. There is also a bookstore on the Venice boardwalk with two cats as well. They sell newer books though. My friend Joseph put me on the Illiad and the cats names are Zeus and I-forgot-the-other-ones-name. They had a really great collection of tattoo books that I hadn’t seen elsewhere before. I picked up a tattoo book by Tasc”
