Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

Pre-pandemic pandemic literature that combines Shakespeare and the apocalypse in the most brilliant way. Changed my life in high school.

Deeply loved this book and found it to be surprisingly so different than the tv show (which I also found to be stunning), but the book is in a league of its own.

“Gorgeous book with an actually good show too, that feel like they inhabit different but parallel worlds”

“Another must listen - one of those books that have stuck with me years later. Emily St. John Mandel is almost more artist than writer - everything feels beautiful even when the world itself is so fragile.”
