the endery began in the workshop, not the boardroom.first launched in 2019, the endery grew out of harkened, a knitwear manufacturer that works alongside artisans in lima to scale craft for designer brands. our roots in production define our entire approach - natural fibers, expert construction, and innovative techniques. we didn't learn knitwear from the outside in, we built it from the ground up. 
great knitwear starts with great materials working in peru gives us access to some of the world's most exceptional natural fibers and yarns, which have become the building blocks of our collections: pima cotton, alpaca, and merino wool. we prioritize natural fibers for their biodegradability, how they feel and how they wear over time.  the right fiber can make a sweater softer without making it fragile, warmer without making it heavy, and more breathable without sacrificing structure. unlike most synthetics, natural fibers breathe with the body, regulate temperature, and absorb and release moisture. they soften and settle with wear, developing more character over time.
