Buffy the Vampire Slayer - 5x16 “The Body”

An incredible episode of a seminal show. “The Body” should have garnered Sarah Michelle Gellar an Emmy nomination for her stripped-down, raw performance in an entry with little to no supernatural elements as Buffy and her friends deal with a very human experience: grief.

I could cry just thinking about it.

“But I don’t understand! I don’t understand how all this happens. How we go through this. I mean, I knew her, and then she’s… she’s just a body.”
