Tender Is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica
$16.77
"Come with me as I clock in for my job at a slaughterhouse that processes human beings," basically.
Prose makes an extremely tough-to-swallow read extremely binge-able. Apologies for the awful puns.
You'll think "I'll never read this again" throughout and then the ending hits you like a Mack truck and you know you'll have to come back at some point.
Truly fantastic.

“By far my fave book in which humans are farmed and slaughtered and eaten by yuppies! RATING: 🥩🥩🥩🥩”

“The ending was so unexpected and well-executed! Personally, one of the best horror novels I've read in the past ten years.”

“is it horror? speculative fiction? sci-fi? i don't care, it's weird and moving and realistic and surreal and very human and slightly uncomfortable.”
