Cowichan Sweaters
The Cowichan sweater. These Indigenous-made sweaters have a deep complex history and are specifically well-suited for the West Coast of Canada. I have a knock-off vintage Mary Maxim sweater that I wear almost everyday in the winter months, but am saving up for the real deal. I love the thick wool and the shawl collar <3 It’s my soul sweater for sure.
Fun Fact: A version of this sweater worn by Ryan Gosling stole the show in the movie Project Hail Mary…
