What's everyones favorite way for collecting travel recommendations? Right now I use a google doc for each trip where I list out restaurants I'm interested in, attractions, stores I want to visit, etc. and then I try to go back at the end of the trip and update with my thoughts / what I actually did. It's annoying though because there's no map element -- I have to manually save each destination in google maps. Has anyone tried Wanderlog? Is there a website or app worth checking out?

I typically use either google maps lists or apple maps guides feature and just save it directly that way. nothing really fancy there, but it does eliminate the google doc aspect. one thing i make sure to do whenever traveling is downloading the map of the region so it's available offline

Apple Maps has completely nuked my guides on more than 2 occasions so I have given up on Apple Maps. RIP to my 40+ item New Orleans Apple Map guide. 😭(Yes, I am still bitter.) I also make Google map lists for each trip. I love this because I can share it with friends and have them add their desired stops.
