"The Line of Beauty"

Such a gorgeous book. I've been working my way through the gaps in the NYT's list of the 100 best books of the 21st century (so far), and wasn't quite sure what to expect of this one. A novel of manners set in 1980s London, exploring class, sex, politics, yearning. Some of the writing is so beautiful I wished I could physically consume the sentences.
