(FFFFOUND! was a social bookmarking that allowed registered users to share already existing images on the Internet and to receive personalized recommendations of other images. Users not registered could view these posts and the corresponding recommendations; registration was strictly by invitation.)

FFFFOUND! was one of one; really special + I miss it.
One thing that I loved was that it functioned like a portrait of absence. You saw what someone chose to save, but there were no comments, no explanations, no essays-so getting to know them was this very oblique process, impersonal and very personal at the same time. And there were so many folks with specific and passionate eyes; it was an education to be there + so much fun.
