Sonic Body Scrubbers… for Cleaning Fabric

Here’s some unusual advice:

I love velvet. Over the last six years, I’ve repeatedly chosen to furnish my primary sitting areas with velvet chairs, sofas, ottomans, etcetera.

They’re beautiful! Also, they’re a magnet for disasters big and small.

Once, in a pinch, I spilled coffee on a pink velvet couch. I tried to clean it with the standard array of fabric cleaning solutions. No dice, just increasing anxiety that I was wearing out my fabric.

Then, out of desperation, I tried dawn powerwash spray and my Foreo Luna. Stain came right up - without damaging the fabric at all!

I’ve kept this little technique in my back pocket since… but rather than using my Foreo, I keep whatever less expensive sonic scrubbing alternative on hand for just this purpose.

Gentle enough for skin, but powerful enough for fabric - well, isn’t that just perfect?
