Question

Alisa Amador · Answer

Travelpro Platinum Elite 21" Expandable Carry-On Spinner: This one!! I traveled professionally for years - it rolls like buttah and continues to work perfectly. Lived out of it for a month once. Hands down best suitcase.

Emily Teague · Answer

Scootcase: You’re in luck. I found just the right thing. I feel very good about this. case closed.

Darcy Groves · Answer

Victorinox Airox Advanced Frequent Flyer Carry-on: I absolutely love the Victorinox suitcases - pricey, but last forever (I’ve used the same one for 15 years)! The hard shell is super tough, and the inner space is roomy enough to fit a week’s worth of clothing (imo). Also the multi-directional wheels are so smooth and make maneuvering really easy on the street if needed!

Juliana · Answer

quince front pocket carry on: Cheaper than Away but very similar style and quality. Front pocket to stash your laptop without carrying it in your shoulder and to grab quickly if you are forced to gate check.

Sarah Cooney · Answer

Carry-On Pro Plus: Pretty standard at first blush, but the real MVP of this suitcase is the zipped laptop sleeve at the front of the suitcase. My life has never been the same.

Harrison · Answer

Patagonia Black Hole Pack 32L: I’m anti roller bag and I understand the backpack isn’t better. BUT I’ll do an extended weekend trip with this bad boy.

Zoe Det · Answer

Eddie Bauer Expedition 22 Duffel 2.0: I have the 1.0 I think but it is the greatest suitcase ever. I have taken it all around the world on trains planes boats etc, and it is extremely sturdy and kind of squishes anywhere

Moira Price · Answer

away large carry on: Definitely a more predictable pick, but durable and spacious with good compartments.

Gem Sea · Answer

Patagonia Black Hole Duffel Bag 55L: i got this on sale in neon green in 2019 and i haven’t looked back. the bag is so good i don’t even care that it’s practically fluorescent. better color ways now.

Steve M · Answer

Travelpro Carry-On Luggage: Every buy-it-for-lifer recommends a Travelpro. A close second choice is a Briggs & Riley carry-on but they are certainly not as flashy as a Travelpro.

John · Answer

Beis Carry On Roller: I swear by this. I love the way it packs and am amazed at the beating it can take without minimal wear.
