Tokyo, Kyoto, Kanazawa. I’m going to Japan for 9 nights in 2 weeks. My second time, but the first was 10 years ago and I honestly can’t recall much. I’m inundated with recommendations, and my brain is having trouble sorting through them all, but if you could suggest ONE (and only ONE) restaurant or shop, what would it be? I’m actively looking to avoid anything with a line/too hype-y. Thank you!

Visit

We stayed pretty close to this sweet cafe in Kanazawa and went every morning to have chill coffee, amazing pastries, and be entertained by the very precious child of the lovely owners. The caradmom bun was perfect.
