the bagelry (santa cruz, ca)

i have intense college nostalgia for the bagelry in downtown santa cruz. i had a friend in college that baked the bagels so she'd be there when we were coming home from hijinxs in downtown. fresh baked bagels in the dead of night. classic college memories. now, more than 20 years after my college life in santa cruz, the bagelry is my can't miss spot in town. we grabbed a half dozen and some spread to enjoy over the next couple of days camping.
