I have found that this leads to more meaningful conversations than “what have you been up to lately?” or even “what’s on your mind?” It’s a simple question but it feels personal and might elicit something that you wouldn’t have even known to ask about.
I find myself asking my husband this question on walks or at dinner when I feel caught in the daily life/taking care of business chats. It always leads to a sweet conversation and often brings us on tangents that we wouldn’t have found ourselves on otherwise.
Maybe I need to ask this in a group setting next 🫶🏼
