Neilson Hays Library

Quiet and lovely corner of Bangkok. A three room English language library in an award-winning historical building from the early 1920s. A Bangkok institution. In theory, non-members are supposed to pay 100 baht to browse around but this is not typically enforced. Have a seat, flip through musty volumes in an excellent collection. The stamps inside some of the books go back 50 years. Classy coffee joint in the lush courtyard right outside.
