This is a secondhand treasure in my collection, and the photographs feel like being let in on something private and sacred.
Myron Wood’s photographs show Georgia O’Keeffe at home in Abiquiú in her later years, alongside text by Christine Taylor Patten, who cared for her near the end of her life. It’s an intimate record of the life she waited a decade to build: the rooms, the rituals, and the woman still at work inside them.
