i think sam is such a charismatic, thoughtful interviewer in a sea of promotional podcast trash. (i say this as a podcast researcher / writer gal myself.) he gets the best out of actors, journalists, political figures, writers, you name it! he even got zadie smith to sit down with him (literal icon) and she isn’t sitting down for anybody! if you’re cleaning your bathroom and want to be moved / inspired / or maybe even LEARN SOMETHING, i suggest popping on an episode of talk easy! big fan of sam here!! you will be too.
