Contestants in a dystopian world live together in a villa, where the world watches for entertainment while they face challenges and pair up into couples to survive another day in the house. It’s twisted at times, but will keep you hooked (just like any great reality tv).

“I've been listening to the audiobook (Lucy Boynton!) on my long walks to work in this bizarrely humid LA summer. Kind of ideal summer reading. Thought provoking enough to feel substantial but still pulpy and page-turning. Lovely prose - not too sparse, not too flowery. Very interesting concept. Falls off a bit in the final third, but that's okay. 3.5/5”
