I have a jumble of hangers collected over the years and have devised the optimal system for hanging, where each one has its own role to play:
*Wood/bamboo hangers for jackets and suits (cedar if you’re fancy or really want to project from fabric moths)
*Velvet for slippery fabrics/straps
*Metal for button downs
*Metal with clips for pants and skirts
*Metal stacked hangers for open, thin robes + sweaters
*Metal (or velvet) without bottom edge for the narrow necks of t shirts
*Secondhand plastic for hanging damp clothes/laundry as they dry
People love to give hangers away when they move so rather than buying these I just collected over time.
Is there a type/role I’m missing? What does satin do?!
