Satin Kajal Jewel Liner: Hands down the best eyeliner. Just enough play time. Love how pigmented this is, and then you use the blur tip to blend it out. Cocoa is my go-to shade. But they’re all really fun.

Lisa Eldridge Seamless Glide Eye Pencil in Ground Coffee: I’ve haven’t used this on my waterline but I have this color and it’s a a nice, deep neutral brown. I’ve also heard good things about Victoria Beckham’s eyeliners but I haven’t tried.

Smashbox Always Sharp  Longwear Kohl Eyeliner Pencil.: I like Violetta though it’s not dark brown.Applies easily and has a built in sharpener. The only drawback is you don’t know when you’re going to run out. So I always keep one on hand.
