Industry (2020)

If you’re still sleeping on Industry, eat some prunes, go to the toilet, and get your shit TOGETHER because the latest season finale just dropped, and you best believe screams were coming from my apartment. I can neither confirm nor deny whether said screams were coming from me or my cats. That episode took years off my life and I have zero regrets.

Let me just say this: nothing will prepare you for the onslaught of unhinged plot twists. It's chaotic, juicy, intense, messy and at times bleak as fuck — which, as of five seconds ago, I’ve decided is the elite formula to get me hooked on a TV show.

I saw it described somewhere as Succession meets Euphoria meets Gossip Girl. I think Industry was more entertaining than any of those shows but that might just be my hyperfixation talking. I still don’t grasp most of the finance bro jargon in the rapid-fire dialogue, but honestly, it doesn’t even matter because it’s just superb television.
