Excellent food, yet unpretentious and artist-centric. All diets welcome (vegan and omnivores, etc. alike). I've never been disappointed. Txa Txa is newly down the street and also worth checking out if you're into this vibe.

My all-time favorite restaurant...was there a few days ago, and a week before that. Best move is to go solo right when then open for breakfast or dinner and snag a front window seat, which is an extension of bar service. Great people watching and no res/no wait.

“The ideal neighborhood restaurant — a menu of old standbys plus a rotating seasonal situation. A Chicago institution for good reason.”

“Barely needs a description. It’s as good as everyone says it is every time. Even in 2012 when I was so hungover I couldn’t eat the breakfast burrito i ordered and that is one of the best breakfast burritos in the city”

“Brunch or dinner, you can ’t go wrong. Try to get a spot on their patio ✨”
