Independently run by a French woman (and small team) in NYC; it’s definitely an impulse buyer’s buzz kill, and it annoys the Sephora sales people until they start asking you to run their own products through it. WARNING: It’s addictive and can take you hours to buy one thing. It has become a late-night parlor game of sorts w/ girlfriends scanning all night. It’s another app-distraction in the guise of “research & health” for those of us who procrastinate but just can’t help it.
