ascaso espresso machine

it’s safe to say i have a crush on an appliance. i did a photo trade for an ascaso espresso machine, and my life honestly changed. every morning cal and i make an oat capp together—and during the la fires, it was literally sitting by the front door next to my go-bag as an essential.

i’ve always loved cafe culture, but having this at home deepened the obsession, curbed my daily spending, and makes me feel like a real barista. huge thank you to my coffee spirit guide masha for teaching me the ins and outs. i have yet to master latte art, but come on over for a shot anytime (and i’m forever accepting medium roast whole beans for my fellow opus).
