The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald

in response to James Kylstra

What’s your all-time favorite novel? I’m just looking for the GOAT; I’m tired of reading books that lots of people like but no one really loves.

After 100yrs, still a top contender for the Great American Novel. I re-read every 2-3 years.

Had to read this for English lit. Since it was a forced read, probably why I hate it.

Try again sometime with an open mind - it truly is a great book.
