What’s an affordable place to stay in Paris? Planning a trip in October and looking for a hotel / b&b that’s cute but will leave enough room in the budget for copious amounts of pastries and vintage shopping (recs for those also accepted)!

Hotel Florida Paris: Stayed here in March for a week celebrating my mom’s 70th, and it was perfection. Small, boutique, free breakfast. Walking distance to so many things but not right in the middle of a touristy area. Also just beautifully designed.

Hotel La Nouvelle République Paris: Comfortable, affordable (for Paris), and in an ideal neighborhood. Strongly recommend the pastries at the nearby Boulangerie-Pâtisserie Terroirs d'Avenir for breakfast.

Hotel Les Deux Girafes - Paris: I’ve stayed here my last few visits - small place, English friendly in a quiet neighborhood in the 11th - walkable / not super touristy. They have a nice breakfast spread and cozy rooms :)

Grand Hotel Malher - Paris: Stayed here a number of years ago for only two nights, but it’s quite a gem and in a fabulous area! The staff were so nice and recommended the best restaurant nearby as well :) Other travel websites should have better room pricing!
