First day of school meal

When my girls started school the tradition of pesto pasta and ice cream cake began. This was on our menu for every first and last day until they both graduated from HS. The first day of school can be complicated- nerves, worries and excitement rolled into one. Looking forward to a favorite meal takes a bit of the pressure off.
