Crochet Fisherman Beanie Pattern

Unfortunately my calling(s)in life include the most immaterial and psychologically taxing disciplines known to man (writing and acting and stand-up comedy) so I’m always looking to pick up little concrete skills that offer tangible proof of progress and that I am indeed getting closer to death. I believe knitting is objectively cooler——I have knit a TWO scarves NBD——but crochet has a lower barrier of entry and is much easier to learn on your own. If you don’t want to end up with a mountain of of potholders in the corner of the living room (evidence of your neuroses) you can totally tackle this pattern after a few YouTube videos AND feel good about giving it to someone in your life because it’s actually wearable.
