St. Gil - Jonathan Schmidt-Ott

this is one of my all-time favorites. St. Gil is the perfect example of how the curation of images is just as important as the images themselves.

i love how this book moves effortlessly between intimate portraits and landscapes/the built environment, balancing one another in an unexpected yet beautiful way.

10/10. Even the size is perfect, on the larger side at 33.5 cm x 46.2 cm the portraits truly stand out.
