What’s a skincare product you used to swear by but have subsequently quit (and why), and, most importantly, what are you now using in its place?

Dieux Instant Angel Lipid-Rich Firming Moisturizer: It’s honestly a great moisturizer. For my skin, which is pretty normal in terms of moisture, it’s the best. But Versed’s Daily Recovery Rich Barrier Cream is cheaper and like 80% as good so that’s what I use now.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser: I used jojoba oil to wash my face for a while at the recommendation of a Substacker (can't remember their name at the moment), but it was hard to find when I needed refills so I stopped. Been perfectly content with this Cetaphil cleanser instead!

Lotion P50: used this for years when i was Into the Gloss-pilled; quit because it's so expensive and honestly an act of chemical warfare against the skin (demolishes acne tho). now I use 15% azaelic acid (rx)!
