When I was studying for the LSAT and then the bar I didn’t get to cook or eat anything fun for months because everything besides studying was done in peak efficiency mode. Once I was done all I wanted was to eat good food and distract myself from angst during the delay before I got my score. Cooking was the perfect solution for me, and I think a fun new cookbook is the best way to celebrate! I love anything by Molly Baz, Sohla El-Waylly, or Samin Nosrat. If the book comes in under budget, you could throw in a gift card to a local grocery store, butcher, spice shop, etc. Congrats to your friend!

“Just treated myself to a new cookbook and I’m loving it! Loaded with tips, easy recipes that are versatile and approachable. She cooks like I do, buy produce that gets my attention at the grocery store, look in the fridge and see what inspires. It celebrates sharing simple delicious food with people you love.”
